After releasing self reflective and moody album "songs to drive to" on March 7, 2025, indie pop band "Nightly" embarked on their nationwide tour. A stop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was necessary for this epic tour. Nightly created a musical experience, having two openers before the band made their appearance. Brooke Alexx set the stage for the night ahead, enhancing her set with an abundance of audience interaction. During her third song, she stepped off of the Theatre of the Living Arts stage, and stood above the crowd, belting out an emotional ballad.

The next opener to step on stage, Will Linley, was dazzling. There wasn't one moment he was standing still. Invigorated by the energy of the crowd, Linley gave an outstanding performance. While he was practically bouncing around on stage, he still managed to not miss a note. A set that was not only memorable, but paired perfectly for what was to come.

As Nightly prepared to take the stage, fans grew in eagerness and excitement. A cohesive, emotional album made for a show that fans lined up outside the door hours before for. Nightly did not disappoint. They brought out elements of mystery - doing a lot of the show in dim lighting - and the audience was loving it. When my time in the pit was over, I got to stand back and watch hundreds of fans jump up and down, all synced to the beat of the music. Intricate melodies swirled the air as the performance continued, lighting up the Theatre of the Living Arts, and making way for the band to continue a long night of performing.

Clearly enthiusiastic about the evening, Nightly delivered the performance they had promised.  "songs to drive to" is Nightly's third studio album, and features songs such as "tv shows," "where do we go from here," and "STOP". Nightly's tour continues now through May 30th.
